A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US…
Jason Goldstein, Founder and Brewmaster of Icarus Brewing Company, opened the brewery in January 2017 in Lakewood, NJ, with just six beers on tap. Over the next seven and half years, the team and tap list expanded exponentially, brewing and releasing Icarus staples like Yacht Juice, Drinking Crayons, Kalashnikov, Private Beach, and hundreds more!
As the business continued to expand, the need for a larger taproom and brewhouse became evident. After years of searching, the site of the brewery’s new home was selected in Brick Township and construction began. In June 2024 the final beer was poured at our Lakewood location and operations shut down as we moved to our new, state-of-the-art facility in Brick. With this major upgrade, Icarus Brewing is poised to spread our wings further and provide patrons with one of the most unique craft beer experiences in the entire state, alongside some of the best brews around!
At Icarus Brewing, we believe you go big or go home (just like our namesake). On average we release 3-5 beers each week and our taproom boasts an ever-evolving menu of 30 different beers, seltzers, and hard teas on draft. Our minds are always spinning with new flavor ideas and innovations to thrill our loyal Icarus customers!
