A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
Jason Goldstein, our Founder and Brewmaster, opened Icarus Brewing in January 2017 with six beers on tap in Lakewood. Over the next seven and half years, the team and taplist expanded exponentially, brewing and releasing staples like Yacht Juice, Drinking Crayons, Kalashnikov, Private Beach, and hundreds more!
As the business continued to grow, the need for a larger taproom and brewhouse became abundantly clear. After years of searching, the site of the brewery’s new home was selected Route 88 in Brick and construction began. In June 2024 the final beer was poured in Lakewood and operations shut down as we moved to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Brick. With this major upgrade, we’re able provide patrons with one of the most unique craft beer experiences in the entire state, alongside some of the best brews around!
We believe you go big or go home (just like our namesake). On average we release 3-5 beers each week and our Taproom boasts an ever-evolving taplist of 30 brews on draft.
